Who is Eligible

Those eligible to apply for THF scholarships are current high school seniors who are full-time students. THF makes every effort to support students from the Twin Cities and surrounding areas, as well as students recommended by THF supporters.

This year, we are awarding 25 scholarships at $2,000 each.

• Scholarships are awarded to current year high school graduates only.
  
• Recipients MUST BE PRESENT AT OUR SUMMER SOUNDS EVENT in Minneapolis, Monday, July 21, 2008 to receive an award.
  
• Application Deadline: May 1, 2008.

2008 Harrington Foundation Education Scholarship Application

Types of Awards

THF Scholarships are one-time awards of $2,000, which may be applied to educational expenses at any accredited institution in the United States. Educational expenses include tuition and fees, room and board expenses at school or home, books and supplies and incidental expenses.

Responsibilities of Recipients

Scholarship recipients must enroll as full-time college students in the fall of the year in which the scholarships are awarded and continue in school for the entire academic year without interruption, barring illness, emergency, or military service. Scholarship recipients are responsible for making certain that their scholarship checks are delivered to their colleges.

Program Administration

To assure impartiality in the selection of winners and to maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with students, the selections are made by a committee of educators, artists, and a variety of professionals.

No donations are used for administrative expenses.
